Veteran’s Discount

My grandfather, Frank Puglio, was a proud WWII Army veteran serving in the Fourth Armored Division under General Patton. But more importantly he was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather with unlimited love. He was blessed with a full life. He landed on the beach in Normandy with the 4^th Armored Division, drove across Europe in a Jeep, met the love of his life on a blind date, celebrated 66 years of marriage, raised two beautiful children, saw all of his grandchildren grow up, saw one get married, and got to hold his great grandchild the day he was born. As proud as my grandfather was of his family, he was also extremely proud of the time he spent serving his country. During his later years, he would not leave the house unless he was covered head to toe in his Fourth Armored Division apparel. Attending a veterans meeting was the highlight of his days, and he was extremely touched, honored, and appreciative when someone anonymously paid for his meal and left a note thanking him for his service.
