8 Toddler Dinner Ideas

Dinnertime with a toddler can be rough. Especially when you run out of ideas on what to make them! So I’ve put together 8 of my best ideas and recipes your toddler will love. I have even shared with you some recipes to help you sneak in those dreaded veggies!

1. Smoked Gouda and Apple Sandwich– My toddler loves Gouda cheese! This sandwich is the perfect combination of sweet and savory.

2. Roasted Butternut Squash– This side dish is a perfect way to introduce a new vegetable! Butternut squash has a sweetness your toddler just might love!

3. Waffle Grilled Cheese- Invite breakfast to dinner! This is exactly as it sounds! Use two waffles to make a grilled cheese sandwich! Your toddler will love the new twist.

4. Roasted Cauliflower Mash– This is another perfect side dish for your toddler. It tastes like mashed potatoes, so they will never know it’s really cauliflower (you hope, lol).

5. Pumpkin Pizza With Kale– Perfect for family night! Your toddler will enjoy helping the family make this nutritious pumpkin packed pizza!

6. Glazed Yams With Cinnamon And Nutmeg– A healthy but yummy way to make yams for your toddler!

7. Broccoli Tots– Tots for your tot! Eating greens has never been more tasty! Get your toddler to eat their broccoli with this bite-sized treat!

8. English Muffin Pizzas- I mentioned these in my blog post about lunch ideas too. Can you tell I am a big fan of these?! While they are probably the most common idea you will find on the internet for a quick and easy toddler meal, I love them because they are one of the easiest meals a toddler can prepare by themselves (well mostly themselves, lol).
